Tidal Wave TV
Non-Fiction & New Media Production
Tidal Wave TV is a Los Angeles-based reality TV and new media production production company providing empowering, thought-provoking entertainment that “redefines your reality.” Its first series, “Remixed!”, was part of BET’s new programming line-up for Viacom, which earned the network its highest ratings in its 25-year history. Its executive producer, DMA (Donna Michelle Anderson), has set record ratings for CBS and Travel Channel, as well, and is joined by a team whose expansive non-fiction credits span dozens of years, the range of unscripted genres and virtually every major broadcast and cable outlet.
For over ten years, DMA has worked as a writer, producer and show runner of dozens of high-rated non-fiction and new media programs for such networks as CBS, UPN, Fox, AMC, Travel Channel, Bravo, History Channel, A&E, Lifetime, Disney Channel, TLC and more. She is a member of both the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences and the Producers Guild of America. DMA also is an in-demand entertainment industry speaker and consultant, having presented industry insider guidance and new media strategies to professional organizations, companies, film festivals and colleges across the U.S. She is the author of the first-of-its-kind TV production guide The Show Starter Reality TV Made Simple System: Ten Steps to Creating and Pitching a Sellable Reality Show, hailed as the “bible” of the reality pitching biz, and now taught in film and television programs across the country. In 2007, her game-changing new production software, Show Starter Scheduling & Budgeting Plus, was named one of MovieMaker magazine’s “Top 40 Indie-Film Friendly Businesses.”
Tidal Wave TV is the new media production arm of The CLIC, a college-bound social network for students and the institutions seeking to serve and recruit them.
